Finished projects and a boring life lol

Okay, so I've finished a few things lately and started a few (so what else is new) lol One thing that got finished is a blanket for one of my best friends. It's a lot of purple...way too much purple, but she loves purple. The other thing that i finished is a shawl for an unnamed recipient. lol But I think the colors are perfect for her. I've posted a pic of the blankie but the shawl i'll post after the person gets it. lol
I've also started a sock. The yarn is gorgeous..nice and pink and funky, my kinda thing. I'm magic looping it toe up...cause i'm thinking i wanna use all the yarn from the skein since i have two and they are so cute color wise lol.

In other non-knitting news...My step-daughter is staying with us right now. She's bored....very very bored. I feel for her NOT. There are tons of girls in the trailer park, but as she barely gets her butt off the couch it's not possible to make friends...amazingly they don't just show up. She keeps trying to play with the cat...lol My thirteen year old cat only plays when she wants too and she only sits on you if she wants to. nothing you can do will make her... and she definitely prefers to sit on my lap when i'm available...sorry kid uh she is my cat y'know. She did get a couple books out of the library though yesterday, she's liking them, so that's good. She's reading one of the princess books by meg cabot (great author). I told her if she really likes them we'll keep an eye out and maybe find some for Christmas or what have you...since I always buy a book or two for them for Christmas.

Sorry sis, no new bubba pics...lol you've got the real thing again lol.

Freedom week

This week my sunshine is with my sis, so it's freedom week. Sleep late as I want...watch what i want on tv...ah yes and not have to here the whining...on the other hand, he's my bug and i do miss the brat...lol

Finished this up yesterday. It's for one of my neices who had little girls. It's late...oh well.
